The Valley East of Mount Everest

The valley east of Mount Everest has become a popular hiking destination, offering close-up views of several 8,000-meter peaks. High rainfall creates diverse plant life, especially alpine rhododendrons that bloom spectacularly in May and June.

Access requires two days of trekking with no supplies along the route. Be well-prepared, as severe altitude sickness in this remote area would be challenging.
